My ride to St Augustine was striking. Here's a sidewalk along my way.
By coincidence, the Celtic Festival was the weekend I arrived. On Saturday, there were a bunch of parades. Unfortunately, I thought this was a common occurrence. I didn’t get too many photos.
I saw a number of other sights in the historic district. A sculpture of a horse made of chrome bumpers at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not.
One of several magnificent churches.
The draw bridge I crossed several times to and from my campsite. You can't tell from this photo, but the walkway across the bridge was only about three inches wider than my wheels. I didn't have a chance to look down.

Wow Tom you've come a long way since you last posted. And what great adventures you've had. Well all but the 35 mph wind. I don't know how you did that but bless Mr. Patel for getting you inside. I'd love to know where you are camping at each stop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comments! It’s nice to know that people are keeping track of my progress. Maybe I will make it to Seattle.
DeleteI’ve been taking my time getting to Jacksonville. I’m meeting a college friend Monday. Even so, I’ve learned more and more how to make steady progress.

All of these were nice RV parks that also had tent camping.
My ride through rural Georgia and South Carolina seems to offer only one RV Park, so I’ll have to stay in hotels or maybe I’ll find a park along the way.
