The ride to Carolina Beach NC was scenic.  Here I am riding along.

 

I got turned around and off rack on my ride to Carolina Beach NC.  The Garmin went nut a couple of times. 

When I got to Southport NC, I stopped and asked some ladies where “I Am Street” was.  “Right at that black car.” she said.  The other lady told me that Southport was once a seaport with a lot of brothels for the sailors.  There are three streets: “How”, “Dry”, and “I Am”.

In a few more mils, I made it to the Southport ferry. 

I met a nice family from Houston. 

I didn’t take too many photos.  I was in a bit of a hurry.  I did find a nice place for dinner once I got near Carolina Beach.

Since the weather is going to be cold again, I’m staying in a hotel tonight instead of camping out.
